House of Robots reviews commercial and home robots for the Australian market. Original photography, measurements taken here, and prices that count the cost of landing the thing in the country. We sell no robots.

A robot either tracks the person using it or trails behind them, and the difference shows up in the first minute of using one. It is the same gap as a 120Hz screen sitting next to a 60Hz one. Nothing on the box changes, and the whole thing feels different.

What gets published here

Landed cost
Sticker prices in this category are usually in US dollars and usually leave out getting the thing here. We publish what a robot costs to have sitting in a room in Australia, with the shipping, the duty, the GST and the wait included.
Our own photographs
Manufacturer press renders are the norm in this market. The photographs and video here are shot in-house, of the actual unit, in the room it was tested in.
Australian rules
Workplace safety, footpath permits, the import path, NDIS and Home Care Package funding, award rates a robot gets compared against. The parts of owning one that only matter if you are here.
Nothing for sale
House of Robots is a publisher. It does not import, resell, rent or install robots. If that ever changes it will be a separate company under a separate name, and it will be disclosed on this site.

Where this is up to

House of Robots went live on 31 August 2026 with one article. The plan from here is steady coverage of the Australian market: the robots that already sell here, the ones that do not ship here yet, and what each of them actually costs to run against the job it replaces.

There is no test archive, no reader review pile and no traffic to point at, because none of that exists yet. It gets built in public, one page at a time, and every claim on this site is either something we measured or something we cite.
