What I do

You tell me what you want the house to do and I tell you whether we can do it. If you say yes, I design it, install it and look after it afterwards, and an app drawn around your floor plan comes with it. Three bedrooms and up, from $5,000. Melbourne in person. Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Hobart on Zoom first, then I fly in for the install.

A licensed electrician does anything hardwired, in every city, because that is the law here. I do the rest, which means the person who drew the design is the person standing in your ceiling.

Not tied to any brand

House of Robots works with any brand, so everything is picked to suit your house. If something you already own does the job, it stays, and if the cheaper option is the right one, that is the one you get.

The robot pricing index

The other half of this site is a price index for robots sold into Australia, because working out what one costs here is genuinely hard and most of the answers online are in US dollars before shipping.

It is early, and it is desk work. House of Robots owns none of these machines and has tested none of them. Every figure carries the source it came from and the date it was read, and the pages say plainly where a number is an estimate.

The photography

I shoot for a living, stills and video. It is why this site looks the way it does and why the app was drawn rather than assembled out of stock components.
